Post-modernism and the meaning of art

From my amateurish wide view postmodernism is kind of recognition of global civilization with elements of any culture that existed before. And suddenly come to naught sense.

The meaning of art (perhaps for me) is still something that forward to positive, "higher" and stimulate thinking about the nature of things.

Sometimes people create something that just reflect personal express, often their disappointment or emptiness.
In my opinion, this is inacceptable approach; there is some responsibility creator takes - firstly obtain something that could be called constructive, and only then express it.

In some way, thats why 'dao de jing' and slient minimalism-styled judicious approach imposes me.

Humanity needs time to consider such a rapidly changing world, and precisely importantl not drown into pseudo.
